Groton Local joined with neighboring towns to form Nashoba Local First,
a network of locally owned and independent businesses formed to build
a strong economy and a vibrant community. We are working on bringing
together independent businesses, organizing a Shop Local campaign and
encouraging town governments to promote locally owned business. Other
future projects include connecting local employers with job seekers; and
identifying local sources of capital investment
